Corporate Contests vs Independent Contests
Many of our contests are corporate-run events, meaning that mathleague.org staff organize and run the contest. At a corporate-run contest, the experience is standardized as much as possible, from the check-in process to the administration of the Contest Problem Set to the awards ceremony. Corporate-run contests will include in the contest listing an email address that ends in @mathleague.org.
For some of our contests, we license Contest Problem Sets to partner organizations to run the contests on our behalf. At these contests, there may be no mathleague.org staff member present, and some aspects of the experience may be different from other contests, such as registration fees, check-in procedures, grading procedures, and the awards ceremony. The rules and administration of the Contest Problem Set will be exactly the same as with corporate-run contests. If you have specific questions about how one of these events will be run, contact the contest host listed for the event.
