High School International Championship

Additional Policies:

• Any student who is invited to attend the International Championship will be eligible to compete in all events.
• Only students who have qualified for the International Championship, or who have been invited off a waiting list to replace a student who cannot attend, may compete at the International Championship.
• Teams at the International Championship will be organized by country, subject to our subunit policy as described below. Students at the International Championship may form a team with any students from their country, and sweepstakes awards will be given to countries rather than schools.
• Please let us know by April 1 if you would like to submit a formal petition for a subunit of your country to be considered for participation as a separate "country" at the International Championship. We will evaluate your petition and let you know by May 1 whether your subunit will be allowed to compete as its own country. mathleague.org also reserves the right to designate national subunits as separate countries after consultation with the national coordinators in those countries. As an example, participants from Scotland, Palestine, or the Navajo Nation might request to compete as a country at the International Championship; mathleague.org's designation of a subunit as a "country" for purposes of competition does not reflect any official opinion on the geopolitical status of the subunit in question.
