Hosted by the Tempe High School Math Department with tests provided by mathleague.org, this exciting day of competition will feature four events and four opportunities to qualify for Arizona’s fourth annual State High School Math Championship! Students who score high enough at the February 10 contest will be invited to compete at the state championship on April 24, and some will even be invited to compete at the national championship in June!

Tempe High School is located at 1730 South Mill in Tempe. A map and directions to the school can be found here. When you get to campus on the 10th, there will be signs directing you where to park and where to go for the contest. Registration will run from 3:00pm to 3:30pm, with testing starting at 3:30pm. mathleague.org Earthquake Relief Campaign

This spring mathleague.org will be making a donation to the American Red Cross to help with earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. We will be donating one cent for every point scored by each student on sprint round tests at all our February contests, and we expect to donate several hundred dollars through this effort. Students are also encouraged to solicit donors to sponsor them on a per-point basis to contribute further to the campaign. More information on what mathleague.org is doing and how you can get involved can be found here.

National Math Contest Information

mathleague.org is recruiting a team of 15 talented math students to represent the State of Arizona at the national ARML competition. We will be competing at the American Regions Mathematics League national contest in Las Vegas this June. This year's ARML meet is scheduled for June 4 and 5 at the campus of the University of Nevada - Las Vegas. We are currently accepting applications and will select the team based on performance on the AMC contests as well as the mathleague.org state championship. Teachers interested in helping coach the team or run practice sessions should contact us at mathleague@mathleague.org.
