January 13 Contest

Arizona State University

Registration is free!

Hosted by the Arizona State University Math Department with tests provided by mathleague.org, this exciting day of competition will feature four events and four opportunities to qualify for Arizona’s fourth annual State High School Math Championship! Students who score high enough at the January 13 contest will be invited to compete at the state championship on April 24, and some will even be invited to compete at the national championship in June! Each school may register 12 students for this event with no charge (please disregard the $10 fee listed on the registration page). Schools wishing to register more than 12 students should contact us at mathleague@mathleague.org to be placed on the waiting list. Additional students will be invited from the waiting list if space is available after January 4.

The contest will be held in the Bateman Physical Sciences Center, and teams should check in outside room PSA 118. A map can be found here, and building PSA can be found at D4 on the map. Registration will run from 8:00 to 8:30, with testing starting at 8:30. A lunch break will follow the testing, and awards and door prizes will be given out at 1:00.
