mathleague.org offers a number of services designed to promote math and problem solving abilities in individual or group settings. To find out more about any of these services, click the appropriate links to the left.

Classes

mathleague.org runs short-term classes to help prepare students for math competitions and develop their problem-solving skills. Classes will be held throughout the 2009-2010 school year in Silicon Valley and online; click the link to the left to find out more, or contact us if you would like to help organize one of these classes in your city.

Workshops

mathleague.org can conduct a workshop for students and/or teachers in your school, or you can invite participants from nearby schools as well. Workshops can be as short as one hour or as long as several hours a day for several days, depending on the depth of coverage you need. Past workshops have focused on such topics as:
  • Developing Problem Solving Abilities
  • Math Contest Preparation
  • Training Teachers to Run Extracurricular Math Programs

Tutoring

mathleague.org can pair you with a highly qualified tutor who can meet you in an online classroom or, depending on your location, in person. Subjects available for tutoring include:
  • Mathematics at all levels
  • High school physics and chemistry
  • Standardized test preparation
  • Contest preparation

Camps

mathleague.org organized two-week day camps in Tokyo in June 2008 and June 2009 designed to develop students' problem solving abilities through working on challenging math problems. Links to upcoming camps are posted to the left as they are announced. Feel free to contact us if you would like to help bring one of these camps to your city.
