If you are at an online contest, you can email us any time at onlinecontests@mathleague.org if you need any assistance.
General rules for all tests (to be read to the students prior to the first test)
- If you are not an authorized student, chaperone, coach, or mathleague staff member for the contest(s) being conducted today, you must leave the meeting room now; we are committed to keeping our testing process secure and will remove anyone who is not supposed to be here
- Make sure your cell phones are put away and silent until the team portion(s) of the contest
- Keep your eyes on your own work station and do not talk to anyone or access any forbidden resources during the testing
- Answers submitted through the online answer form will be considered official; we will only look at the emailed answer sheets in the event of a malfunction of the online submission form
- Unless otherwise specified, all answers must be exact, fully simplified, and in the format requested
- If your answer contains a fraction, put a forward slash between the numerator and denominator (example 3/2); if your answer is a mixed number, put a space between the integer part and the fraction (example 1 1/2); if your answer is a decimal, put a decimal point between the integer part and the remainder (example 1.5); if your answer is a negative number, put the negative sign in front of the first numeral of your answer (example -1 1/2).
- All answers that are not multiple choice will be rational numbers; do not write any extraneous units, commas, letters, symbols or spaces, because any of these will cause your answer to be counted incorrect
