Mar 14 Contest at Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Monmouth County
mathleague.org is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a math contest on Wednesday Mar 14, 2012 for students in grades 3, 4, and 5. Testing will consist of Sprint, Target, and Number Sense rounds. The contest will be held at Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Monmouth County in Marlboro, and the cost will be $50 per school. The approximate schedule will be as follows:
- 3:30 PM Check in
- 4:00 PM Testing begins
- 5:30 PM Break
- 5:45 PM Tiebreakers and awards
The contest is located at PO Box 203 22 School Road East (Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Monmouth County) in Marlboro.
Prizes will be given to the top students in each grade level, as well as to the top teams. Students are expected to bring their own pencils and calculators.
Every group of up to 12 students that registers for the contest must be accompanied by an adult sponsor who is willing to help proctor or grade tests (this sponsor should be designated on the registration form). Parents can register individual students and serve as sponsors if necessary, but we recommend that parents check to see if there is anyone else at the school who is planning to attend before registering an individual student.

Practice tests are available for purchase at the mathleague.org store if you would like to prepare for the contest (one set of tests is available for free download on our site as well).
