Prizes will be given to the top students in each grade level, as well as to the top teams. Students are expected to bring their own pencils and calculators. Registration for this tournament is by invitation only, and a list of qualifiers can be found here.

The Qualifiers for the League Championship are based on the results of the State Contests in both large and small school divisions:

  • Top 5 overall schools (all students competing at state up to 18 - schools with more than 18 students at state should contact us for further clarification)
  • Top 5 students on the Target round from each grade level designation (8th or below, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th)
  • Top 5 students on the Sprint round from each grade level designation (8th or below, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th)

Every group of up to 24 students that registers for the contest must be accompanied by an adult sponsor who is willing to help proctor or grade tests (this sponsor should be designated on the registration form). Please note that only students who attend schools that are paid mathleague.org members for this school year are eligible to compete at the championship meet. You can check on your school's membership status and purchase a membership if necessary here.
